The purpose of this blog is to share with families the learning and joy that occurs inside our classroom community. I believe deeper level learning happens through play, exploration, and investigations. When we learn alongside of children and begin to truly listen to them, we are able to then understand what sparks their imaginations, quenches their thirst for curiosity, and help them become global citizens. Since this cannot be "packaged" into a worksheet for you to see in your child's book bag, the classroom blog has become an invaluable avenue for families to stay connected to our learning. Below is the slide show from Back to School night. These are just snapshots to give you a better insight into our day. Moving forward, there will be deeper documentation of the learning going on. For the meantime though, simply enjoy:)
