The Species of Second Grade

As promised, the documentation is now up for all the children (and families) to enjoy and reflect on.  A few of the groups were a bit fluid due to children being absent while working on this project work.  I encourage you to share this blog post with your children and ask them about their creation.

Scoroadragon:  The Scorpadragon.  I am a scorpadragon.  It feeds on humans. Its eyes are glowing red.

Sliger:  They met in a cave.  They hid in the cave because outside there was a bad storm and there was a monster.  It was tall and dangerous shooting fire from its mouth and a toxic liquid from its spikes, but there was a little sliger and it bit him and he is dead.

Chicncorn:  Once upon a time, the Chicncorn lived in a house with a scientist and let Chicncorn eat the poison.

Hippofrank/Francoe:  This is a Hippofrank.  We made a Francoe.  It is mixed a hippo and a giant squid.  And it lives under the water and it is a predator and it eats meat.  The hippo met the kraken by eating it.  So the kraken mixed up lots of blood. It wasn't digest enough.  Then it turned into a Francoe.  It digested stuff and it likes jellyfish and seaweed and it likes to grab onto boats.  Francoe, he had a true love and he is giving a chocolate heart to her.  He likes her so much.  They always kiss.   Francoe said, "Oooooooo Baby" to Elle and "I love you because you are having a beautiful baby.  It will like your armpits?"

The horse saw the ape.  Then the tiger ate the horse.  And they walked into a pit of   lava and then they all come and got mixed into a taprapehorse!  It is a horse, an ape, and a tiger.  They thought it was a hot tub.  He burned to ashes.

Valosacornck:  3 scientists made a Valosacornck, a velociraptor and a catacorn.  They thought it would cute, but they were wrong!  It destroyed all the homes in the state.  They put it in a giant cage, but it escaped!  It hopped threw states and they tried to make it come back.  It killed everyone in its path.  It killed everyone except the scientists.  It was at the mountain and it saw a wall.  It went in the wall and it saw a thousand of its kind.  That is the story of the Valosacornck.

Drasquid:​  On a dark and stormy night, there was a battle.  There was a squid and a dragon.  They clashed together in the ocean!  One day later, they meet a dolphin.  It was their sidekick.  They went to a cave and stayed there to rest.

Doagnuiy:  He is 50 percent dragon, 40 percent lava monster, and 10 percent alien.  He is a ckoruvon!  He is 1 percent snake, 1 percent fir snake.  It lives in lava beams, ice beams, and dark kitchens,  He is Max Rucnie.

Once a dog and a cat were playing and they were best friends.  And one night the sun  was out in a den. When they woke up, they mixed together.

No Name Ted:  No Name Ted has befriended a chicken, Snowman.  Then he met a squirrel and a chipmunk.  And before the chipmunk hamster "rioin" deer made a hybrid, they hugged, "Wahh.... we are a hybrid."  Before it happened, they had a battle and after they became a hybrid.  They had a fight itself by punching its own face.  They all hit each other.  Then they were mutated.
